Slow Cooker: Roast Chicken with Peas and Cream

Ingredients
4 chicken breast halves
salt and pepper to taste
1 small white onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup dry white wine
10 oz frozen peas
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
4 cup farfalle pasta, cooked al dente
Directions
1. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
2. Combine chicken, onion, and wine in slow cooker.
3. Cover, cook on low 8-10 hours.
4. Add frozen peas and heavy cream to cooking liquid; cook 30 minutes more.
5. Remove chicken with slotted spoon; slice, set aside, and keep warm.
6. Combine cornstarch and water; add to slow cooker.
7. Cover; cook on high 10-15 minutes or until thickened.
8. Serve chicken over pasta, topped with sauce.
