Meal: Chocolate Bourbon Fondue

Ingredients

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup half-and-half

8 oz unsweetened chocolate, grated

8 oz milk chocolate, grated

3 tbsp bourbon

Directions

1. Place the heavy cream and half-and-half in the fondue pot and bring to a simmer (setting 4.5).

2. When the cream is bubbling lightly, lower heat slightly (setting 4) and add grated chocolates, about a half cup at a time, stirring with a plastic or coated whisk until smooth and creamy after each addition.

3. Stir bourbon into the fondue; reduce temperature (setting 3) and serve.

Notes

Chocolate and oil separated strongly- might need to add bourbon earlier and better whisk, or be more careful about stirring in batches.
