Meal: Fettuccine with Herbed Shrimp

Ingredients
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
6 oz fettuccine
1 large onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup dry white wine
1 tbsp instant chicken bouillon granules
1 tsp dried basil, crushed
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp cornstarch
1/8 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup parsley
Directions
1. Thaw shrimp, if frozen. Rinse, pat dry, and cut in half lengthwise; reserve.
2. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and keep warm.
3. In a large saucepan, saute onion and garlic over medium-high heat until onion is tender.
4. In a small mixing bowl, stir together wine, bouillon granules, basil, oregano, cornstarch, and pepper.
5. Add wine mixture to onion and garlic; cook, stirring frequently, until thickened and bubbly.
6. Add shrimp to onion mixture. Cover and simmer 2 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Stir; simmer 2 minutes more.
7. Spoon shrimp mixture over pasta. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parlely; toss to coat.
