Meal: Spaghetti and Turkey in Cheese Sauce

Ingredients
6 tbsp butter
12 oz turkey breast fillet, cut into thin strips
2 pieces bottled roasted bell pepper, drained, rinsed, dried, and cut into thin strips
6 oz dried spaghetti
1/2 cup flour
3 3/4 cup hot milk
1 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp mustard powder
salt
ground black pepper
Directions
1. Melt 2 tbsp of butter in a pan.
2. Add turkey, season, and toss over medium heat for 5 minutes or until meat turns white.
3. Add roasted bell pepper and toss to mix.
4. Remove with a slotted spoon and reserve.
5. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 and cook pasta in salted, boiling water for 8-10 minutes or according to package directions.
6. Melt remaining butter over low heat in pan in which turkey was cooked.
7. Sprinkle in the flour and cook, stirring, for 1-2 minutes, then increase heat to medium.
8. Add the hot milk, a little at a time, whisking vigorously after each addition.
9. Bring to boil and cook, stirring, until sauce is smooth and thick.
10. Add 2/3 of the grated Parmesan, then whisk in the mustard, salt, and pepper to taste.
11. Remove sauce from heat.
12. Drain pasta and and return it to the pan.
13. Mix in half the cheese sauce, then spoon the mixture around the edge of an ovenproof dish.
14. Stir the turkey mixture into the remaining cheese sauce and spoon into the center of the dish.
15. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan over the top and bake for 15-20 minutes or until cheese topping is just crisp.
Notes
Should double the turkey, bell pepper, and spaghetti or halve the milk.
