Main Dish: Cranberry Chicken Stew

Ingredients
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup jellied cranberry sauce
1/2 cup dark raisins (sub dried cherries)
1 TBSP apple cider vinegar
1 TBSP brown sugar
1 lb chicken breasts, cubed
1 tsp dried thyme leaves
2 tart apples, thinly sliced
salt to taste
8 ounces egg noodles, cooked, warm
Directions
1. Saute onion in large, lightly greased skillet for 5 minutes
2. Stir in remaining ingredients except for apples, salt and pepper, and noodles
3. Heat to boiling then reduce heat and simmer, covered until chicken is cooked - about 15 minutes - adding apples during last 5 minutes
4. Season to taste with salt and serve over noodles
