Meal: Chicken Normandy

Ingredients

2 tbsp butter, divided

3 cup thinly sliced apples (about 3 apples)

1 lb ground chicken

1/4 cup apple juice (100% juice)

1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup

1/2 cup chopped green onion

1/2 tsp dried sage

1/4 tsp black pepper

8 oz egg noodles, cooked and drained

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350.

2. Grease a 9x13 casserole dish.

3. Melt 1 tbsp butter in large, deep skillet.

4. Add apples; cook and stir over meidum heat 7-10 minutes or until tender.

5. Remove apples from skillet and reserve.

6. Brown chicken in same skillet over medium heat, stirring to break up meat.

7. Add apple juice; cook 2 minutes.

8. Stir in soup, green onions, sage, pepper, and apple; reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.

9. Melt remaining 1 tbsp butter and toss with noodles.

10. Spoon noodles into casserole dish; top with chicken mixture.

11. Bake 15 minutes or until hot.
