Main Dish: Chicken Paprika

Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
salt and pepper
1 tbsp butter
1 cup very thinly sliced onions
4 tsp sweet paprika
1 tbsp minced garlic
1/2 cup chick broth
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup sour cream
several drops lemon juice
Directions
1. Season chicken generously with salt and pepper.
2. In a wide, deep skillet, melt butter.
3. Cook chicken in skillet until golden, turning once, about 5 minutes/side.
4. Remove chicken to plate and keep warm.
5. Add onions.
6. Reduce heat and cook, stirring, until onions begin to color.
7. Add paprika, garlic, chicken broth, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
8. Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
9. Return chicken to skillet.
10. Reduce heat to simmer; cover, and simmer 20-30 minutes until chicken is done. Turn chicken once or twice.
11. Remove chicken to plate; keep warm.
12. Discard bay leaf.
13. Boil sauce over high heat until thick.
14. Remove from heat, and whisk sour cream into sauce.
15. Return to high heat and boil until thickened.
16. Add salt and pepper to taste, along with lemon juice; mix.
17. Pour sauce over chicken and serve.
