Dessert: Creamsicle Meltaways

Ingredients
4 TBSP unsalted butter at room temperature
3 TBSP (19.5 g) powdered sugar (+1/3 cup for rolling)
zest of 1/2 orange
2 tsp fresh orange juice
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp cornstarch
pinch of salt
Directions
1. Beat together butter and 3 tablespoons powdered sugar until creamy.
2. Add the orange zest, juice, and vanilla and beat until combined
3. Sprinkle the flour, cornstarch, and salt in and beat until combined.
4. Place the dough on waxed or parchment paper and roll into a 12 inch rope with 1inch diameter.
5. Refridgerate atlas 30 minutes.
6. Preheat oven to 350 and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
7. Remove the dough from the fridge and slice into 12 1-inch pieces. Pinch the dough slightly in the middle as you move it to the prepared cookie sheet.
8. Bake the cookies for 13-14 minutes until fragrant and the tops are dry. Cookies should not brown
9. Let cool on cookie sheet for 1 minutes and then rollin powdered sugar
