Meal: Dim Sum Baked Buns

Ingredients
3 green onions, minced
2 tbsp plum sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 lb ground chicken
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp minced fresh ginger
12 oz frozen bread roll dough, thawed
1 egg, beaten
sesame seeds
Directions
1. Combine green onions, plum sauce, and hoisin sauce in a large bowl.
2. Spray a medium skillet with cooking spray; heat over high heat.
3. Add chicken; lightly brown.
4. Add garlic annd ginger; cook and stir 2 minutes more.
3. Spray 2 baking sheets with cooking spray.
4. Lightly flour hands and woork surface.
5. Divide dough into 18 equal amounts.
6. Shape each piece of dough into a disk about 3-3.5" in diameter; center should be thicker than edges.
7. Fill each disk with 1 tbsp filling; lift edges of dough up and around filling and pinch closed at top.
8. Place each filled dough ball upside down on baking sheet.
9. Cover buns with towel and allow to rise in a warm location 45 minutes or until about double in size.
10. Preheat oven to 375 F.
11. Brush buns with beaten egg, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
12. Bake 16-18 minutes or until buns are golden brown.
